Shaping the future of Emissions Reduction Technologies

January 2026, Houston, Texas

About

Emissions Tech Connect is the pioneering emissions reduction technology event for hard-to-abate industries.

As the largest event of its kind in the world, we connect 1,200 industry executives and operators to showcase the latest emissions technology innovations.

Supported by three leading networks spanning the energy ecosystem, the event tackles the toughest decarbonization challenges. These networks include the Energy Council, the world's largest membership network for investors, the World Refining Association, representing the refining industry, and PowerGen, the largest networking and business hub for power generation professionals.

Over the course of two days, we welcome you to participate in dynamic speaker led panels and presentations split across four diverse tracks of content, cutting-edge live tech demos, incredible networking opportunities and more.

Emission Tech Connect promises to be a comprehensive experience, blending knowledge, networking, and practical demonstrations in a vibrant and engaging atmosphere. Together we can shape the future of emission reduction technologies.

We did not begin the process of launching EmissionsTech Connect because of the emissions technology ecosystem. Instead, we were fortunate enough to have had literally hundreds of conversations with energy executives, entrepreneurs, investors, all of whom speak consistently of desire to see a more complete picture of the innovation landscape around emission reduction in the energy ecosystem, and get Board-level answers for increasingly frequent questions. Each hard to abate sector has distinct business issues that could be aided by a larger, global gathering of emissions technology innovation. Those conversations and our history spanning two-decades supporting the US energy industry led us to support the event.

Sectors

Oil & Gas

While the oil and gas industry is a key contributor to emissions, the sector also holds the key to unlocking a decarbonized future. By investing in innovative methane capture, electrification, renewable energy, hydrogen production, and CCUS technology, they can not only clean up existing operations but also lead the market in new sustainable sectors.

Steel

Soaring steel demand comes at a cost – 7% of global emissions. But the industry isn't sitting idle. Steelmakers are on a mission to meet net-zero goals. Embracing renewable energy sources to power furnaces and hydrogen-based steel production offers a promising path toward clean steel. However, upfront investments in new technologies and infrastructure are significant. Only through collaboration between governments, steel producers, and energy producers can a sustainable steel industry be achieved for the future.

Cement

While demand for cement soars globally, the industry is quietly revolutionizing its processes. Why? Because traditional methods contribute 8% of global CO2 emissions. Forward-thinking companies are embracing lower-carbon clinker, alternative materials, and process improvements to slash their environmental impact, paving the way for a greener future, brick by brick.
